Dr. Richard Foveaux, DC MS DACBSP CSCS
Dr. Foveaux graduated in 2008 from Logan College of Chiropractic in Chesterfield, MO. Logan is nationally recognized as the chiropractic leader in sports and rehabilitation. There, Dr. Foveaux was the recipient of the Excellence in Chiropractic Science Award upon completion of doctorate program. His biomechanical and evidence-based approached to joint pain, sports injuries, and rehab helped to lead an impressive clientele back to competition during his clinical internship including: 8 all-state performers, 2 state champions, and 1 national champion.
Dr. Foveaux received a Master’s of Science degree in Sports Science and Rehabilitation degree from Logan University in 2009, finishing his rehabilitation internship with Kansas State University Sports Medicine.
Dr. Foveaux is also recognized by the National Strength and Conditioning Association as a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist and previously worked in St. Louis as a sports performance coach. He has completed the Certified Chiropractic Sports Physician program, as part of the first program held at the United States Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs and is board certified as a chiropractic sports physician.
In 2011, Dr. Foveaux earned the prestigious credential of Diplomate of the American Chiropractic Board of Sports Physicians. As part of this process and in addition to becoming a Certified Chiropractic Sports Physician®, he spent over 300 hours training under the guidance of the director sports medicine clinics for the US Olympics and some of the other top chiropractic sports physicians In the world. Dr Foveaux served as a verified team doctor, passed rigorous written and practical board specialty examinations, and made a contribution to scientific literature that passed peer-review to complete the program.
Rich graduated from Bethany College in 2005, with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Mathematics. He was a member of the Bethany Swedes baseball team for 4 years, and an All-KCAC selection his last two seasons.
Rich graduated locally from Riley County High School in 2001. In high school he participated in football and baseball, helping to start the baseball program there his senior year. He was also a member of the Dick Edwards and Carson 17er American Legion baseball teams in 2000 and 2001.
He enjoys spending time with his family, and reading the latest literature and journals on musculoskeletal interventions and sports performance. He has been a chiropractor Manhattan KS since 2008.
Dr. Foveaux has served as adjunct faculty for the Kansas State University Athletic Training Education Program as a clinical instructor since January of 2010, Team Physician for the Junction City Generals Semi-Pro Baseball Club in 2010, and has served Riley County High School athletics since 2010.
